Boeing Distribution Australia Pty Ltd is recruiting Shipping & Receiving Specialists to join our team on a 100% onsite basis in Tullamarine, Melbourne. You will handle receipt, storage, packaging and shipping of inventory, with hands-on use of ERP systems and handheld scanners.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience, forklift/material handling knowledge, and a safety-first approach to lifting up to 35 lbs.

Competenze

• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Experience with receipt and dispatch of goods.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Able to lift and carry cartons weighing up to 35 lbs with safety tools.
• Able to stand and walk on cement floors for long periods.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures.
• Applicants must have full, unrestricted working rights.

Shipping & Receiving Specialist Company: Boeing Distribution Australia Pty Ltd. Boeing Distribution Australia is a leading solutions provider of aftermarket supply-chain management services for the aerospace and defense industries and is the largest subsidiary of The Boeing Company. We are currently recruiting for multiple Shipping & Receiving Specialists to join our team 100% onsite in Tullamarine Australia. The Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Specialist provides support by assisting with all receipt, dispatch, and related support activities. Successful applicants will have experience in material management, warehousing, booking freight, use of plant, and manual handling equipment.

About the Role:

Receipt, storage, handling, packaging & shipping and issuing of inventory at the warehouse facility Lift and carry cartons weighing up to 35 lbs. and manage cartons in excess of 35 lbs. utilizing available safety tools Places parts in correct location after identifying and verifying part numbers Picking and filling orders using a laptop computer or hand scanner Print and batch pick tickets and prepare warehouse pull and return Load and off-load material to/from delivery truck, reconcile, enter information into ERP system, prepare for counting process Matches paperwork to box and prepares orders for billing/shipping Relocate items between office and warehouse as required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• 2 + years of related work experience
• Previous experience in the receipt and dispatch of goods and services
• Experience in operating material handling equipment
• Ability to lift and carry cartons weighing up to 35 lbs, utilizing available safety tools
• Ability to stand and walk on cement floors for long periods of time
• Detailed oriented, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced atmosphere
• A strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn with a "can do" attitude
• Applicants must have full, unrestricted working rights

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Valid driver’s license
• Basic Computer Knowledge including knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• International shipping/dangerous goods warehouse experience
• Forklift license
