Job summary

Boeing Australia is seeking a part-time HR Generalist based in Brisbane to provide generalist HR advice and services to management and staff across the business. You'll work on HR projects, ensure data integrity in HRIS, support WGEA submissions, and help drive diversity, inclusion and employee development in line with Boeing's strategy.

With tertiary HR qualifications and experience, you will partner with senior consultants and managers to deliver practical HR solutions in a fast-paced

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR/Business preferred
  • Ability to advise management on HR issues
  • Knowledge of HR legislation and IR environment
  • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Project management experience
  • Self-motivated with limited supervision
  • Experience with Workday is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR advice to managers and employees on employee life cycle matters including problem solving and recommending strategies
  • Implementing solutions to HR management issues across areas such as total rewards diversity and inclusion orientation training and development policies and procedures employee communication performance management investigations and coaching
  • Lead and participate in range of HR Projects and task requiring HR involvement and expertise
  • Prepare reports submissions policies on a range of HR related issues
  • Ensure 100 % data integrity of HR Information systems
  • Assist Senior HR Consultants through the delivery of effective and timely allocation and deployment of resources and contribute to HR business planning activities
  • Provide expert insight and support in facilitating WGEA submissions
  • Consult with the business draft submissions and policies negotiate and build effective working relationships with diverse range of clients

Boeing are currently seeking to recruit for a part-time HR Generalist – to be based in our Brisbane office. This role will provide generalist HR Advice support and services to management and employees across the business to assist in achieving business objectives in accordance to Boeing’s vision and strategy.

About you
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR/Business (e.g. degree in HR Management) preferred but not essential or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to research analyse and provide advice to management and staff on a comprehensive range of complex HR issues
  • An applied understanding of contemporary HR-related legislation and policies and as they relate to the appropriate industrial relations environment
  • Well-developed and effective written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage HR-related projects including managing and participating in project teams as well as proactively identifying initiatives that can assist HR in continuously improving
  • Demonstrated time management ability to coordinate tasks and projects and manage own performance with limited supervision
  • Attention to detail in managing sometimes complex tasks that require coordination and planning
  • Previous Workday use and experience is an advantage
  • Applicants must be a Permanent Resident to meet defence security requirements
