Job summary
Boeing Distribution Australia Pty Ltd is recruiting Shipping & Receiving Specialists to join our team on a 100% onsite basis in Tullamarine, Melbourne. You will handle receipt, storage, packaging and shipping of inventory, with hands-on use of ERP systems and handheld scanners.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience, forklift/material handling knowledge, and a safety-first approach to lifting up to 35 lbs.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- Experience with receipt and dispatch of goods.
- Experience operating material handling equipment.
- Able to lift and carry cartons weighing up to 35 lbs with safety tools.
- Able to stand and walk on cement floors for long periods.
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures.
- Applicants must have full, unrestricted working rights.
Responsibilities
- Receipt, storage, handling, packaging & shipping and issuing of inventory.
- Lift and carry cartons weighing up to 35 lbs using safety tools.
- Place parts in correct location after identifying and verifying part numbers.
- Pick and fill orders using a laptop computer or hand scanner.
- Print and batch pick tickets and prepare warehouse pull and return.
- Load and off-load material to/from delivery trucks and reconcile in ERP.
- Relocate items between office and warehouse as required.
