Job summary

Zambrero is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations in our Melbourne area restaurants. You will guide a fast-paced team, uphold standards, train staff, and ensure guest satisfaction with fresh, quality Mexican food.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team in day-to-day operations
• Model Zambrero values and culture through behavior
• Assist in training, developing and driving team performance
• Assist with hiring and onboarding of new team members
• Manage staff performance reviews and rostering
• Ensure food is prepared, presented and served to high standards
• Assist with stock ordering from suppliers
• Handle office tasks such as paperwork, banking and cash handling
• Support in marketing promotions execution
• Oversee daily/weekly cleaning of production areas and dining space
• Maintain Workplace Health and Safety standards and training

What You’ll Do

Our Shift Supervisor take pride in preparing and serving fast, fresh, and healthy Mexican food with a smile. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the day-to-day operations in the restaurant.

• Leading the restaurant team in efficient day-to-day operations
• Being a role model for the standards and behaviours consistent with the Zambrero values and culture
• Assisting in training, developing, and driving the team to deliver positive and memorable customer experiences
• Assisting with hiring new team members and onboarding them
• Assisting in managing the team, including staff performance reviews, and rostering staff
• Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard
• Assisting with ordering of stock from various suppliers
• Assisting with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll and reviewing policies
• Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room and general restaurant
• Assisting with executing marketing promotions
• Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety
