Darlinghurst Zambrero is seeking Team Leaders to join our Zam fam. Lead the restaurant team in day-to-day operations, ensuring fast, fresh Mexican food and a smile, while upholding standards and the Zambrero culture.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a restaurant team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team in efficient day-to-day operations
• Be a role model for Zambrero values and culture
• Assist in training and developing the team for positive customer experiences
• Assist with hiring and onboarding new team members
• Assist in managing staff performance and rostering
• Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served to a high standard
• Assist with stock ordering from suppliers
• Handle admin tasks such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll
• Oversee daily and weekly cleaning of production areas and dining area
• Assist with marketing promotions
• Ensure Workplace Health and Safety standards are met and staff trained

We are Zambrero. Australia's largest Mexican franchise offering healthy, fresh food while fighting world hunger. What You’ll Do

Our Team Leaders take pride in preparing and serving fast, fresh, and healthy Mexican food with a smile. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the day-to-day operations in the restaurant.

• Leading the restaurant team in efficient day-to-day operations
• Being a role model for the standards and behaviours consistent with the Zambrero values and culture
• Assisting in training, developing, and driving the team to deliver positive and memorable customer experiences
• Assisting with hiring new team members and onboarding them
• Assisting in managing the team, including staff performance reviews, and rostering staff
• Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard
• Assisting with ordering of stock from various suppliers
• Assisting with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll and reviewing policies
• Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room and general restaurant
• Assisting with executing marketing promotions
• Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety
