Zambrero in Ballarat is seeking Shift Supervisors to lead our Zam Fam team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You will oversee fast, fresh, healthy Mexican food preparation and service with a smile, driving excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a fast-paced restaurant team.
• Excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team in daily operations.
• Model standards and Zambrero values and culture.
• Train, develop, and drive the team to deliver positive customer experiences.
• Assist hiring and onboarding.
• Manage the team, including staff performance reviews and rostering.
• Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served to high standards.
• Assist with ordering of stock from suppliers.
• Support office administration tasks such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll and policy reviews.
• Oversee daily and weekly cleaning of production areas, dining room and restaurant.
• Support marketing promotions.
• Maintain Workplace Health and Safety standards.

What you’ll do

Our Shift Supervisor take pride in preparing and serving fast, fresh, and healthy Mexican food with a smile. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the day-to-day operations in the restaurant.

• Leading the restaurant team in efficient day-to-day operations
• Being a role model for the standards and behaviours consistent with the Zambrero values and culture
• Assisting in training, developing, and driving the team to deliver positive and memorable customer experiences
• Assisting with hiring new team members and onboarding them
  
• Assisting in managing the team, including staff performance reviews, and rostering staff
  
• Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard
  
• Assisting with ordering of stock from various suppliers
  
• Assisting with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll and reviewing policies
  
• Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room and general restaurant
  
• Assisting with executing marketing promotions
  
• Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety
