Job summary

Zeus Street Greek is seeking a hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead the team during busy shifts and ensure high standards of food quality, service and safety.

You will coach and motivate staff, manage day-to-day operations, handle customer enquiries, and support opening/closing procedures in a fast-paced, casual setting. Experience in hospitality and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality, QSR or retail.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to train, coach and motivate staff.
• Solid understanding of food safety, customer service and operational standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the team during your shift.
• Supervise team performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Ensure all food, service and safety standards are consistently met.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Support opening and closing procedures as required.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with basic inventory control.
• Assist with cash handling, POS procedures and basic reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding shift performance.
