Job summary

Zeus Street Greek is seeking a proactive Shift Supervisor to lead busy shifts, coach the team, and maintain top service and food safety standards. You’ll drive performance, manage daily operations, and ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a hands-on approach to improving outcomes while supporting opening/closing routines.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role within hospitality, QSR or retail.
• Proven leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to train, coach and motivate team members.
• Strong understanding of food safety, customer service and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the team during your shift.
• Supervise team performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Ensure all food, service and safety standards are met.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Support opening and closing procedures as required.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with basic inventory control.
• Assist with cash handling, POS procedures and basic reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding shift performance.

About The Role

As a Shift Supervisor, you are responsible for leading the team during your shift and ensuring smooth day-to-day restaurant operations. You will be a hands‑on leader who supports, coaches and motivates the team, while maintaining high standards of food quality, customer service, safety and cleanliness.

Shift Supervisor Responsibilities

All Team Member and Team Member Trainer responsibilities, plus:

• Lead and coordinate the team during your shift
• Supervise team performance and provide coaching and feedback
• Ensure all food, service and safety standards are consistently met
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner
• Support opening and closing procedures as required
• Monitor stock levels and assist with basic inventory control

Shift Supervisor Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality, QSR or retail

• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively
