Job summary

Zeus Street Greek is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the team during busy shifts, ensuring smooth day-to-day restaurant operations, coaching staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality, service, safety and cleanliness.

You’ll be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, working closely with the team to drive performance, guest satisfaction and brand standards while upholding WHS requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in hospitality, QSR or retail.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train, coach and motivate team members.
• Solid understanding of food safety, customer service and operating standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the team during shifts.
• Supervise performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Ensure food, service and safety standards are met.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Support opening and closing procedures as required.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with basic inventory control.
• Assist with cash handling, POS procedures and basic reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS and company policies.
• Communicate performance updates to management.

Shift Supervisor Responsibilities
