Job summary

Enirgi Power Storage Recycling (EPSR) in Wagga Wagga is hiring production operators to run the furnace/refinery section and carry out manual labour. You'll operate both mobile and fixed plant and work as part of a team to meet safety and production targets.

Shifts run on an 8-day roster with 12-hour shifts; 5 weeks annual leave. Applicants must have a current forklift licence or be able to obtain one within two months, be fit for manual work, and have the right to work in Australia.

Job description

Located in Wagga Wagga, Enirgi Power Storage Recycling (EPSR) operates a battery recycling facility recycling lead acid batteries.

Production roles are available working in the furnace/refinery section. The positions involve the operation of mobile and fixed plant as well as manual labour.

The shifts work on an 8 day roster . Each shift is 12 hours-2 dayshifts, 2 nightshifts then 4 days off. Shift roles also receive 5 weeks per year annual leave.

Qualities required to be successful in this position are

• Current forklift licence or ability to obtain a licence
• Forklift licence must be obtained within two month's of employment
• Decent level of fitness as the position involves manual work
• Good level of hazard awareness
• Reliability
• Good hygiene practices and clean shaven
• Ability to work in hot environments
• Able to work independently and as a team to achieve targets
• Must have current work rights in Australia at time of application

While not essential the following would be of benefit

• 1-2 year's experience as a production operator
• Experience in operating mobile plant; loader, skid steer, excavator, overhead crane.
• Experience working with chemicals
• Experience working in hot environments
• Experience using respirators
• Preference given to applicants living within 30mins of Wagga/Bomen
• Basic operation of computers-email and data entry

Starting annual wage $92,260.13 with OT available.
