Job summary

InfraBuild Recycling in Mackay Regional is seeking a Forklift Operator for permanent, full-time day shifts. You will perform forklift loading/unloading, yard duties, and daily equipment checks in a safety-focused environment.

We offer a supportive team and training, with a pay rate of $37.87 per hour plus a remote living allowance of $461.54 weekly-equivalent, plus overtime as applicable. Health cover and employee discounts are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid forklift license and have forklift operating experience.
• Physically fit to perform manual handling and yard work.
• Demonstrates a safety-minded approach and adheres to procedures.
• Confident two-way radio communication with team.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills, including operating other mobile plant.
• Excavator operating experience is desirable but not essential.

Join a team that places a strong emphasis on safety and has a proven track record of achieving positive outcomes. You'll perform a range of Forklift Operating and manual handling/yard hand duties in this permanent full time day shift role.

The work hours are 7am – 3pm, with extended hours during shipping (vessels).

Pay rate - $37.87 per hour plus $461.54 remote living allowance (equating to an extra $12,000 per year) will be paid in your fortnightly pay!

All overtime is paid at overtime rates.

What you will be doing:

• Performing manual handling/labouring yard hand tasks
• Maintaining cleanliness of the yard and operational areas
• Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
• Conducting daily checks on mobile plant
• Adhering to safety procedures at all times
