Job summary

Manpower Australia is seeking experienced Production Operators for our Huntingwood facility. This hands-on role combines forklift operation, raw material handling, and machine support to keep fast-paced FMCG lines running smoothly.

Candidates must have a current LF forklift licence and be comfortable switching across production areas, with a proactive approach and reliable attendance. Day shift (06:00–14:00) with potential for ongoing hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic machine troubleshooting and fault reporting.
• Follow GMP, quality standards and PPE protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping within the production area.

Day Shift - Production Operator

(Forklift Licence Required)

Location: Huntingwood - 06:00am -2pm

Manufacturing / FMCG Production Facility

About the Role

We are seeking experienced and reliable Production Operators to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position that combines forklift operation, machine operation, raw material handling, and production support activities.
This is not a traditional warehouse forklift role. Operators will spend approximately 50% of their time operating forklifts and 50% performing machine operation and production-related tasks. Successful candidates will be comfortable working in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment and willing to assist across multiple production areas as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently within the production environment.
• Supply raw materials and packaging materials to production lines.
• Operate depalletising and production equipment safely and effectively.
• Load materials into machinery and monitor machine performance.
• Remove empty pallets, waste materials and production by-products.
• Cut straps, unpack materials and prepare product for production.
• Support production line operations and equipment changeovers.
• Conduct basic machine troubleshooting and fault reporting.
• Follow site safety procedures, GMP and quality standards.
• Wear and maintain required PPE at all times.
• Assist across different production areas as operational demands require.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping within the production area.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Current LF Forklift Licence.
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.
• Experience working around machinery and production equipment.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Desirable

• Experience operating depalletisers or automated production equipment.
• FMCG manufacturing experience.
• Machine operation experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in high-volume production environments.
