Job summary

Linfox Retail team is seeking a Shift Manager based in Arndell Park, NSW. This is a 6-month max-term role leading day-to-day transport activities to ensure safe, efficient and compliant operations.

You will coordinate resources, work with operational teams and drive service performance in a fast-paced retail transport environment, with Monday to Friday shifts and a focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading transport, logistics or operational teams in a dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge of transport operations, including Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to coordinate labour, fleet and operational resources to achieve service outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving, organisational and decision-making skills, with focus on safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation, ensuring service, safety and performance targets are met.
• Coordinate labour, fleet and resource planning to support efficient operations and customer outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with drivers, subcontractors, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with CoR, fatigue management, safety requirements and company policies.
• Drive a high-performance culture through coaching, communication, safety leadership and accountability.
