Job summary

Linfox is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a NSW retail transport operation based in Arndell Park. This 6-month opportunity focuses on safe, efficient and compliant day-to-day transport activities, coordinating labour and resources while working with operational teams to deliver high service performance.

What does the job look like?

Join the Linfox Retail team as a Shift Manager based in Arndell Park, NSW, supporting a key NSW retail transport operation. This 6-month opportunity will see you lead day-to-day transport activities, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant outcomes across the site. You'll work closely with operational teams to manage resources, coordinate workflow and drive service performance in a fast-paced environment. Working Monday to Friday, you'll play a key role in delivering operational excellence across a critical retail operation.

Key areas:

• Lead the day-to-day operation, ensuring service, safety and operational performance targets are achieved.
• Coordinate labour, fleet and resource planning to support efficient operations and customer outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with drivers, subcontractors, customers and internal stakeholders, proactively managing issues and escalations.
• Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, safety requirements and company policies.
• Drive a high-performance culture through coaching, communication, safety leadership and accountability.
