Job summary

Lactalis Australia, based in Forrestdale, Western Australia, is seeking a hands-on Logistics and Distribution Coordinator to join our team. The role reports to the DC Manager and focuses on coordinating day-to-day logistics on shift, ensuring safe, quality, and efficient operations while meeting customer service expectations.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, familiarity with FMCG distribution, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating day-to-day logistics in FMCG environments.
• Desirable experience working in cold rooms.
• Strong supervisory, leadership and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shift operations and stakeholder communication.
• Deliver on-time, in-full customer service and dispatch performance.
• Manage labour resources and workforce coverage across shifts.
• Lead performance, training, and communication through toolbox talks and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, GMP, and company procedures.
• Monitor inventory, reporting, and operational performance to meet service and budget targets.
