Job summary

Based in Forrestdale, Western Australia, Lactalis Australia invites applications for a hands-on Logistics and Distribution Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the DC Manager, you will coordinate day-to-day operations of the logistics team on shift, ensuring on-time, in-full customer service while upholding safety, quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG distribution is advantageous.
• Experience working in cold storage environments is desirable.
• Supervisory experience leading teams.
• Strong leadership to mentor and support staff.
• Focus on clear communication and customer service.
• Proactive approach to daily operations.
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shift operations and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure on-time, in-full delivery and dispatch performance.
• Manage labour resources and staffing across shifts.
• Lead safety, quality and GMP compliance in daily tasks.
• Provide training and communicate expectations via toolbox talks.
• Monitor inventory and operational performance against targets.

About the Opportunity

Based in Forrestdale, Western Australia, a new rare and exciting opportunity is available for a hands onLogistics and Distribution Coordinatorto join our team.

Reporting to the DC Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating the day to day operations of the logistics team on shift.

With leadership, proactivity and energy, you need to make sure that customer service is delivered whilst ensuring safety, quality and efficiency is met.

Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate daily shift operations and stakeholder communication.
• Deliver on-time, in-full customer service and dispatch performance.
• Manage labour resources and workforce coverage across shifts.
• Lead performance, training, and communication through toolbox talks and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, GMP, and company procedures.
• Monitor inventory, reporting, and operational performance to meet service and budget targets.

About You

• Experience in FMCG Distribution is highly advantageous
• Experience working in Cold Rooms is highly desirable
