Job summary

El Jannah is seeking a proactive Shift Leader to run great shifts, support the team, and ensure a positive guest experience across its NSW locations. You will set the pace on shift, uphold quality and safety standards, and lead by example to drive performance.

Ideal candidates have prior leadership experience in fast-paced hospitality, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering outstanding service to guests. Flexible rosters, including evenings and weekends, are required.

• Experience leading teams in a QSR or fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong communication skills and a guest-focused mindset.
• Willingness to work flexible rosters including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EJ Way and support the team during service.
• Keep daily operations running smoothly and efficiently.
• Coach and train team members to build confidence and capability.
• Deliver consistent, guest-focused experiences.
• Support rostering and shift organisation.
• Help drive performance against restaurant goals and KPIs.
• Uphold food safety, cleanliness and WHS standards.
• Manage stock levels to keep service uninterrupted.

About the Role

We’re looking for confident and motivated Shift Leaders to help run great shifts and lead great teams. As a Shift Leader, you’ll be the steady presence on shift, setting the pace, supporting the team and making sure every guest has a positive experience. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards across service, food quality, safety and teamwork.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the EJ Way and supporting the team during service
• Keeping daily operations running smoothly and efficiently
