Job summary

El Jannah in NSW is seeking a confident Shift Leader to help run great shifts and lead a strong team. You will be the steady presence on shift, setting the pace, supporting the team and ensuring every guest has a positive experience.

You’ll lead service, maintain high standards in food quality, safety and teamwork, and grow with a brand that invests in its people and backs them to succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a quick-service restaurant or fast-paced hospitality setting.
• Calm, confident leadership style that inspires others.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.
• Passion for food, people and guest experience.
• Reliable, organised and leads by example.
• Willingness to work flexible rosters including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EJ Way and support the team during service.
• Keep daily operations running smoothly and efficiently.
• Coach and train team members to build confidence and capability.
• Deliver consistent, guest-focused experiences.
• Support rostering and shift organisation.
• Drive performance against restaurant goals and KPIs.
• Uphold food safety, cleanliness and WHS standards.
• Manage stock levels so operations stay seamless.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the EJ Way and supporting the team during service
