Job summary

Mulgrave Insulation Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified Sheetmetal Worker to join its workshop and cladding team in Mulgrave, Victoria. The role covers fabrication from drawings, pattern development and on-site fitting of sheetmetal products for commercial and industrial clients.

With a strong 40+ year history in insulation and metal cladding, the company offers a hands-on trade environment, ongoing training and a focus on safety. A White Card is required, and EWP licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or 3+ years sheetmetal experience.
• At least 12 months recent sheetmetal fabrication/installation experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Experience operating guillotines, folders, rollers and swaging machines.
• Knowledge of riveting and mechanical fastening.
• White Card; EWP licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings to determine material and equipment needs.
• Cut and form sheetmetal using guillotines, folders, rollers and swaging machines.
• Assemble and install cladding on-site at commercial/industrial sites.
• Inspect components for dimensional accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate fabrication and installation with site supervisors and other trades.
• Maintain workshop safety and WHS compliance.
