You will read engineering drawings, manufacture rainwater goods, and operate sheetmetal machinery with precision. A strong focus on safety and teamwork is required in this supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Sheetmetal Fabricator or equivalent.
• Trade qualification as a Sheetmetal Fabricator or 1st Class Sheetmetal Fabricator.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings to fabricate sheetmetal components accurately.
• Manufacture rainwater goods and sheetmetal products to spec.
• Fabricate light gauge sheetmetal with precision and care.
• Operate guillotine and folder machinery to form and join sheetmetal.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets.

Advanced Sheet Metal is seeking an experienced Sheetmetal Fabricator to join our team. This full-time role will see you play a key part in the manufacturing and production of high-quality sheetmetal products for our diverse range of clients.

What you'll be doing

• Reading and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate sheetmetal components and assemblies
• Manufacturing rainwater goods and sheetmetal products
• Fabricating light gauge sheetmetal with precision and attention to detail
• Operate sheetmetal working machinery such as guillotines and folders to shape, fold, and join sheetmetal
• Ensuring high-quality work while under minimal supervision
• Collaborating effectively as part of a reliable and dedicated team
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Sheetmetal Fabricator, ideally 5+ years in a manufacturing environment with a Trade Qualification as a Sheetmetal Fabricator or 1st Class Sheetmetal Fabricator
• Strong working knowledge of sheetmetal fabrication techniques, including cutting, folding, and assembly
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet production targets
