About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Shed Sales Consultant to join our team on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in driving our sales growth and establishing ourselves as the preferred choice for sheds and outdoor structures in the region. As a Shed Sales Consultant, you will be the face of Droughtmaster Sheds, engaging with customers, understanding their requirements, and guiding them through our product range to deliver solutions that exceed their expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and budget requirements
• Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations on our full range of sheds and outdoor structures
• Conduct product demonstrations and site assessments when required
• Prepare accurate quotes and proposals tailored to customer specifications
• Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through to contract completion
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance objectives
• Follow up with leads and customers to ensure satisfaction and identify repeat business opportunities
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities in our system
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in sales, ideally within the sheds, building, construction, outdoor products or home improvement sector
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse customers
• Excellent product knowledge and the ability to explain complex features and benefits clearly
• Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using sales systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office applications
• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel for site visits when necessary
• Professional presentation and a customer-focused approach
• Preferred: Experience in the rural, agricultural, or regional Queensland market
