Acclaimed Workforce Pty Ltd in Somerton, VIC, is seeking an experienced Sewing Operator (Industrial) to join a growing manufacturing operation. The role focuses on operating industrial sewing equipment and assisting with finishing, with immediate start available.

The ideal candidate has industrial sewing/overlocking experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work at a steady production pace. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, with $35.15 per hour plus super.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating industrial sewing or overlocking machinery (essential).
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
• Ability to work at a consistent, medium production pace.
• Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Acclaimed Workforce is currently recruiting experienced Sewing Operators to join an established and growing manufacturing operation in Somerton.

This is a great opportunity for someone with **industrial sewing / overlocking** experience who enjoys hands‑on production work and takes pride in producing a quality finished product.

The Role

Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing equipment and assisting with production and finishing.

Duties include

• Operating industrial sewing and overlocking machines
• Overlocking edges and finishing products
• Trimming and preparing products for final presentation
• Conducting quality checks throughout production
• Identifying and reporting quality issues
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Following production instructions and workplace safety procedures
• Working efficiently to meet daily production requirements
