Job summary

SMS Personnel in Melbourne-based textiles group is seeking a machine operator to work with Dornier knitting and Stent machines. You will set up Dornier looms, monitor tension, and perform maintenance to keep downtime low, while ensuring fabric quality and meeting specifications.

This role starts at 7am for 38 hours per week in a brand-new Pakenham facility. Training will be provided, you’ll join a small team with excellent working conditions and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and be trainable.
• LF Forklift license is required.
• Experience in maintenance and machine operation with high attention to detail.
• Good communicator who can work in a small team.
• OH&S compliant.
