Job summary

Infinity Group Australia is seeking a Settlements Coordinator to manage the settlements for entire property developments, owning the pipeline from roughly 90 days out to completion. You’ll coordinate with brokers, conveyancers and internal finance teams, review contracts and identify risks to keep settlements on track and on time.

This is a hands-on, high-volume role in a growing business with a strong emphasis on ownership.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years’ experience in settlements, conveyancing, broker support or finance coordination.
• Strong working understanding of the mortgage lending process from approval through to settlement (essential).
• Experience managing volume and competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the central liaison between mortgage brokers, conveyancers, solicitors, developers and internal teams
• Monitoring settlement pipelines and critical dates across multiple developments
• Reviewing contracts, solicitor and conveyancer reports to identify risks early
• Using your lending knowledge to challenge brokers on missing information, timelines and conditions
• Ensuring finance files are prepared, progressed and lodged correctly
• Managing valuations and liaising with valuers where required
• Proactively escalating settlement or finance issues before deadlines are compromised
• Providing clear settlement and finance status updates to external stakeholders
• Reviewing high‑risk (“red alert”) files weekly to ensure actions are completed on time
• Settlement deadlines are often immovable, so confidence, prioritisation and calm decision‑making are essential.
