Job summary

MACA Mining are seeking a Serviceperson to join our maintenance team at the Sanjiv Ridge iron ore mine in Western Australia. The role involves servicing and inspecting heavy mobile mining equipment, monitoring equipment condition, and reporting leaks while ensuring oil, grease and fuel stocks are maintained.

Qualifications

• MR or HR licence is required.
• Experience in a mining environment is preferred.
• Experience servicing heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Ability to operate equipment for maintenance and inspection.
• Ability to monitor plant/equipment condition and report leaks, while managing oil/fuel stocking.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong knowledge of Work Health & Safety procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and inspections on heavy mobile mining equipment at Sanjiv Ridge.
• Monitor equipment condition and report issues or leaks.
• Assist with stocking oil, grease and fuel and ensure availability for maintenance.
• Adhere to Work Health & Safety policies and procedures.

MACA Mining are seeking aServicepersonto join our maintenance team at Sanjiv Ridge.The Sanjiv Ridge iron ore mine, owned by Hancock Iron Ore, is situated in the Pilbara region of WA approximately 240 kilometres from Port Hedland.

The fleet includes CAT 785D, CAT 785C Dump Trucks, Komatsu 1250 & Liebherr R9150 Excavators, CAT777D Watercart, CAT 16M Grader, CAT D10T Dozer and Epiroc T45 Drill Rigs.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• MR or HR drivers’ licence.
• Experience in a similar role in a mining environment.
• Experience servicing heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Ability to operate equipment for maintenance and inspection purposes.
• Ability to monitor plant and equipment condition, identify & report oil and fuel leaks, whilst ensuring oil, grease and fuel are stocked.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Good knowledge and ability to follow Work Health & Safety procedures and policies.
