Job summary

MACA Mining is seeking an HD Fitter to join the maintenance team at the Sanjiv Ridge iron ore project in WA. You will service and repair a fleet including CAT 785D/C, Komatsu 1250, Liebherr R9150, and other heavy machinery onsite.

The role requires Australian trade certs and proven experience with surface mining equipment, plus strong fault-finding, preventative maintenance, and adherence to WHS procedures.

Qualifications

• Australian Recognised Trade Cert relevant to HD fitter.
• Surface mining equipment fleet experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and fault find complex mechanical and hydraulic problems.
• Preventative and breakdown maintenance experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of WHS procedures and policies.

The Role & Project

MACA Mining are seeking a HD Fitters to join our maintenance team at our Sanjiv Ridge project. The Sanjiv Ridge iron ore mine, owned by Atlas Iron, is situated in the Pilbara region of WA approximately 240 kilometres from Port Hedland.

The fleet onsite consist of CAT 785D, CAT 785C dump trucks, Komatsu 1250, Liebherr R9150 excavators, CAT777D watercart, CAT 16M Grader, CAT D10T Dozer, Epiroc T45 Drill Rigs.

To be successful in this role, you will require

• Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Cert
