Job summary

MACA Mining is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for their Cape Preston site, on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth. The role oversees maintenance personnel, plans work, and ensures safety and quality on site.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years in a similar role, exposure to MT4400 trucks and Liebherr excavators, and a heavy diesel trade qualification. AMT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in similar role.
• Exposure to MT4400 Trucks and Liebherr Excavators.
• Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification or similar.
• Experience with AMT preferred.
• Sound knowledge of mobile plant and equipment best practice.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of site maintenance personnel including apprentices and sub-contractors to ensure tasks are safe and efficient.
• Ensure optimal utilisation of plant and equipment to limit downtime.
• Plan and execute unscheduled work from breakdowns or backlog as directed by Maintenance Superintendent.
• Ensure all work is completed to MACA quality and safety standards.
• Utilise KPIs and standard measures to improve maintenance processes.

MACA Mining are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Cape Preston, working an 8/6 roster, FIFO from Perth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily supervision of site maintenance personnel including apprentices and sub-contractors to ensure all tasks are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure optimal utilisation of plant and equipment to limit down time.
• Plan, prioritise and execute unscheduled work resulting from breakdown or backlog as directed by the Maintenance Superintendent.
• Ensure all work is completed as scheduled to MACA quality and safety standards.
• Ensure that monitoring tools such as KPIs and other standard measures are utilised to improve maintenance processes.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in similar role.
• Exposure to MT4400 Trucks and Liebherr Excavators.
• Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification or similar.
• Experience with AMT preferred
• Sound knowledge of mobile plant and equipment best practice and operational performance.
