Job summary

Mount Isa Mines is seeking a Serviceperson to operate the service truck for mobile maintenance, refuelling and daily services on frontline and ancillary equipment within the surface fleet on the Mount Isa Mines lease. The role is residential with a 7 day on, 7 days off dayshift roster.

The successful candidate will have a manual LR license, forklift ticket or the ability to obtain, and strong organisational and communication skills to support the Mobile Maintenance team while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Manual driver's license (LR class) or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of the MIM surface lease (preferable).
• Previous experience with mobile fleet or mechanical knowledge.
• Strong organisational and self-motivation; ability to work individually and in a team.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication with a focus on customer service.
• Forklift ticket or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Complete refueling and daily services on frontline and ancillary equipment in the field.
• Ensure all safety procedures and policies are followed.
• Provide support to the Mobile Maintenance team.

Mount Isa Mines is currently seeking a Serviceperson to report to the Supervisor Heavy Fleet at Mobile Maintenance ISF & Rebuild Workshop. This role is a residential role based on a 7 day on, 7 days off roster (dayshift only).

We are looking for a motivated and hands on person to operate the service truck for mobile maintenance, including refuelling and completing daily services on various frontline and ancillary equipment within the surface fleet on the Mount Isa Mines lease.
