Job summary

Accenture Australia is seeking a motivated ServiceNow HAM/CMDB Consultant to support HAM, CMDB and Discovery within ServiceNow. You will collaborate with IT Operations, Asset Management, Infrastructure, and Service Management to improve asset visibility, data quality, governance, and compliance.

The role requires hands-on HAM/CMDB/Discovery experience, ITSM and ITIL practices, plus ServiceNow certifications.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HAM/CMDB/Discovery and ITOM.
• Familiarity with ITAM, ITSM, and SACM processes.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification (mandatory/preferred).
• ServiceNow CSA and Implementation Specialist certs.
• Understanding of CI relationships and service mapping.

Responsibilities

• Support administration and continuous improvement of ServiceNow HAM, CMDB, and Discovery.
• Configure and optimize Discovery schedules and patterns for accurate CI population.
• Maintain CMDB data quality, governance, and compliance.
• Assist in hardware asset lifecycle management including procurement and retirement.
• Collaborate with infra and app teams to classify CIs and relationships.
• Develop dashboards and reports for asset management and CMDB health.
• Create technical documentation and knowledge articles.
