Job summary

The HR Ally in Sydney is seeking a ServiceNow GRC Technical Consultant to join our growing IT risk and compliance practice. You will design, build and optimize IRM/GRC modules, automate controls, and deliver scalable GRC solutions.

You will work with IT, Risk, Audit and Cybersecurity teams, integrate with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, and contribute to dashboards and metrics while ensuring CMDB/CSDM alignment.

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow GRC Technical Consultant with strong hands‑on expertise in ServiceNow IRM/GRC development, configuration, automation, and integrations. The role will work closely with IT, Risk, Audit, and Security teams to deliver scalable GRC solutions and improve risk and compliance visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, and maintain ServiceNow IRM/GRC modules.
• Automate compliance testing, evidence collection, risk assessments, and GRC workflows.
• Develop and maintain JavaScript, Glide scripts, Business Rules, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub solutions.
• Translate regulatory and internal control requirements into technical configurations and automated indicators.
• Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, reports, and risk/compliance metrics.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Support ServiceNow upgrades, enhancements, and platform maintenance.
• Ensure alignment with CMDB/CSDM data models and enterprise architecture.
• Partner with IT, Risk, Audit, Compliance, and Cybersecurity teams to improve GRC processes and tooling.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development/administration experience.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow GRC / IRM.
• Understanding of GRC, Enterprise Risk Management, compliance, and control frameworks.
• Exposure to SOX, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, or similar frameworks.
• Strong JavaScript development skills.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Business Rules, and ServiceNow architecture.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Risk and Compliance (CIS-RC)
• CISA or CRISC is desirable.
