Job summary

WesTrac is seeking a Service Technician - Lube Truck to join the Casula Field Service team. The role suits a mechanically minded trade-qualified technician who works independently, delivering preventative maintenance and building strong customer relationships on Caterpillar equipment.

You will inspect machines, perform fluid servicing, diagnose faults, complete service reports, and support planned maintenance across customer fleets.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mobile Plant, Heavy Vehicle, Fitter & Machinist or similar mechanical discipline.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a field-based environment.
• Basic diagnostic and machine inspection experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• MR Licence highly regarded.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Service Technician - Lube Truck to join our Casula Field Service team.

This role is ideal for a mechanically minded trade-qualified technician who enjoys working independently, delivering preventative maintenance services and building strong customer relationships.
