Job summary

WesTrac in Sydney is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join the Casula team. You will provide onsite maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on Caterpillar equipment across the Sydney region, with autonomy and strong customer interaction.

You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, complete inspections, maintain service records, and ensure safety and quality while delivering exceptional service with CAT diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Mobile Plant cert III trade qualification.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability.
• Previous field service or mobile maintenance experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage customer relationships.
• Experience using CAT ET, SIS or similar diagnostic systems.
• Current unrestricted driver's licence.

Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will provide onsite maintenance, repairs, diagnostics and inspections on Caterpillar equipment across a diverse customer base throughout the Sydney region. This role offers a high level of autonomy, variety and customer interaction while working with some of the most advanced equipment in the industry.
