Job summary

Bradnam's Windows & Doors is seeking a motivated Service Technician / Installer Offsider to work on-site at Warana on the Sunshine Coast. The role offers 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with full-time employment in a family-owned Australian business.

You'll gain hands-on experience installing and servicing Bradnam's products, supported by a training program and tools to succeed, while delivering the Bradnam's Difference to customers.

• No strict years of industry experience; attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn are valued.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install Bradnam's window and door products on site.
• Assist with service work and identify product issues.
• Conduct site assessments and report concerns.
• Communicate professionally with customers during installation and service.
• Glaze and handle glass safely; use hand and power tools.
• Work with installers, service technicians and branch teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe, professional work environment.
• Follow PPE, site rules and sign-in procedures.

Working alongside experienced team members, you'll play an important role in ensuring our products are installed, serviced and presented to the highest standard - while delivering the Bradnam's Difference to our customers.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days will be exactly the same. You'll work across a variety of residential and commercial sites, supporting our installation and service teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reading and interpreting work plans, job sheets and installation paperwork;
• Measuring, handling and installing Bradnam's window and door products;
• Assisting with service work and identifying and rectifying product issues where required;
• Conducting site assessments and reporting any issues or potential concerns;
• Communicating professionally with customers throughout the installation and service process;
• Glazing and handling glass products safely;
• Using a range of hand and power tools;
• Working collaboratively with installers, service technicians and the wider Branch team;
• Maintaining a clean, professional and safe work environment;
• Following all workplace, customer site and safety requirements, including PPE, sign-in procedures and other site-specific processes.

What We're Looking For

You don't necessarily need to have years of industry experience - we're looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• A positive, self-motivated and reliable approach to work;
• Previous experience using hand and power tools;
• A genuine interest in developing a career in installation, glazing, building or a related trade;
• Strong communication and customer service skills;
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team;
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety;
• A valid, unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence suitable for the vehicle you'll be operating;
• A current Construction White Card;
• Trade qualifications or relevant industry experience will be highly regarded.
