Apex Crane is a family-run business specialising in overhead gantry crane servicing, maintenance and installation across Sydney and surrounding regions. As our Service Technician, you will service, fault-find and repair overhead cranes and hoists on-site, across Sydney, with autonomy on each job.

You'll assist with installs of new cranes, complete accurate service reports, and work with a small team including the owners.

Formación

• Fully qualified, licensed A-Grade electrician with relevant overhead crane experience.
• Strong fault-finding ability and mechanical aptitude essential.
• Reliable, detail-focused and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Good driving record and ability to travel across sites in Sydney.
• Working at heights certification desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Overhead cranes and hoists service, maintenance and repair on-site across Sydney.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding during call-outs.
• Developing and/or modifying electrical panels and circuits as required.
• Prepare accurate service reports after each job.
• Assist with installation of new cranes and hoists as needed.

As our Service Technician, you'll service, fault-find, and repair overhead cranes and hoists on-site across Sydney, plus support installs of new cranes as they come online. No two days look the same, and you'll run your own jobs with real autonomy and assists with day-to-day service operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall service, maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and lifting equipment

Electrical and mechanical fault finding, attending call-out requests for repair work

Development and/or modification of electrical panels and circuits

Completing accurate service reports

Assisting with installation of new overhead gantry cranes and hoists

ABOUT YOU

Fully qualified, licensed A-Grade electrician

Valid manual driver's licence

Strong fault-finding ability and mechanical aptitude

Reliable, detail-focused, able to work with minimal supervision

Working at heights certification

Knowledge of Crane and Lifting standards AS1418 and AS2550 (highly desirable)
