Job summary

Miele in Melbourne is seeking a passionate, motivated Service Technician to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity. You’ll be on the road visiting customers, servicing premium domestic appliances, and representing the Miele brand with professionalism.

You’ll combine technical expertise with exceptional customer service, work independently, manage a busy schedule, and stay up to date with evolving appliance technologies. A valid Australian driver's licence is required.

Qualifications

• Must-have: minimum disconnect/reconnect electrical licence.
• Gas and/or refrigeration licence would be beneficial.
• Experience in whitegoods, appliances, electrical trades or field service environments.
• Experience working with KPIs and mobile technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality service repairs and fault diagnosis on Miele domestic appliances in customer homes and occasionally in the workshop.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences through professional communication and service excellence.
• Manage allocated jobs efficiently to achieve strong first-time-fix results and minimise downtime.
• Complete service documentation, invoices and payment processing accurately and on time.
• Maintain van stock, tools and company equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Resolve customer concerns in the field and escape technical issues where required.
• Stay up to date with technical knowledge, product training and evolving technologies.

Your Responsibilities

What We Are Looking For

• Must-have: Minimum disconnect/reconnect electrical licence
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across electrical and mechanical systems
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Current and valid Australian driver’s licence
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and prioritise workloads
• Nice-to-have: Unrestricted electrical licence
• Gas and/or refrigeration licence
• Experience in whitegoods, appliances, electrical trades or field service environments
• Experience working with KPIs and mobile technology systems
