Job summary

Daikin Australia is seeking a qualified HVAC Service Technician for Forrestfield, WA to work on Daikin Chillers and Applied products. You will commission systems, conduct preventive maintenance and diagnose faults, and perform emergency repairs in a dynamic market.

The role requires trade qualifications in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, a Refrigerant Handling License, and strong communication. Travel interstate may be required; a company vehicle is provided.

About The Role

This is a dynamic and fast-paced role, working on our Daikin Chillers and Daikin Applied products. We currently have an opportunity for a qualified air conditioning Service Technician to join our established team in Forrestfield, WA.

This position involves working on a range of market leading chillers and applied products as well as being responsible for commissioning, routine preventive maintenance, fault finding diagnostics and on-the-spot emergency repairs.

About You

The Person That We Are Looking For, Will Have

• A desire to be trained by an OEM across the full product range from Water-cooled and Air-cooled chillers as well as AHU’s & FCU’s.
• A sound technical ability to conduct fault analysis on applications and complete repairs, sometimes within tight time constraints.
• Some Controls experience and want to further enhance their ability across various control platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with our customers and other stake holders.
• The ability to work autonomously but also sometimes within a tight team context.
• Be willing to travel interstate to assist other teams when possible.

Other Requirements

• Trade qualifications in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Chiller experience is desirable, however not essential in this hybrid style role
• Current Refrigerant Handling License
• Current driver’s license
