Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain a range of agricultural equipment from our Naracoorte branch. You will perform preventative maintenance, service machinery, and prepare units for delivery, supporting customers on-site as needed.

The role requires a diesel trade qualification (or current apprenticeship) with strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to ongoing learning and development. A company vehicle, training, and development opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment qualification OR currently apprenticed in this Trade.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Prides themselves on high-quality workmanship.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

• Commitment to ongoing learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of agricultural equipment.
• Diagnose and repair tractors, hay tools, and other ag equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and servicing.
• Prepare new and used equipment for delivery.
• Complete work orders and maintain service records.
• Conduct field service work and support customers on-site as required.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest equipment and tech through training.

About the Role:

In this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of agricultural equipment while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

• Diagnosing and repairing tractors, hay tools, and other agricultural equipment.

• Performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and equipment servicing.

• Preparing new and used equipment for delivery.

• Completing work orders and maintaining accurate service records.

• Conducting field service work and supporting customers on-site when required.

• Keeping up to date with the latest equipment and technology through ongoing training.
