Job summary

Talent Corp in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Service Technician to diagnose faults, service and install air-conditioning systems while delivering a high standard of customer service on-site across residential and commercial sites.

You will hold an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Certificate, a Restricted Electrical License, White Card, and other required clearances; you may also supervise apprentices and maintain service records. A competitive salary package is on offer.

Qualifications

• Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Certificate required.
• Restricted Electrical License required.
• White Card and Police Check as standard.
• QLD-specific QBCC license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC faults on residential and commercial systems.
• Service, repair and install air-conditioning equipment.
• Prepare repair cost estimates and advise on parts replacement.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Coordinate parts ordering for service jobs.
• Ensure safety compliance on site and with refrigerants.
• Provide guidance to apprentices where needed.

They are currently seeking an experienced Service Technician to join their Service Operations team, responsible for diagnosing faults, servicing, repairing and installing air-conditioning systems while delivering a high standard of customer service.

About the role:

Your main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to.

• Deliver a high standard of customer service, maintaining positive relationships with customers, dealers and contractors.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of air-conditioning systems.
• Prepare repair cost estimates and recommend replacement parts or equipment where required.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports and documentation using internal systems.
• Coordinate the ordering and allocation of parts to support service and repair requirements.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures, including the safe handling of refrigerants and equipment.
• Maintain tools, vehicles and work sites to required safety and operational standards.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to apprentices where required.
