Job summary

Roc Consulting is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join a Brisbane-based contractor specializing in air conditioning and refrigeration for residential and commercial properties. You will work across a mix of sites throughout Brisbane, performing fault finding, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and on-site repairs.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with limited weekend work, a generous hourly rate up to $60/hr plus super, a company vehicle or allowance,

Qualifications

• Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration is required.
• Current Refrigerant Handling Licence is mandatory.
• Restricted or Unrestricted Electrical Licence is required.
• Previous experience as a qualified HVAC Service Technician.
• Experience servicing residential and commercial air conditioning systems.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good communication skills and a valid Australian driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and diagnostics on a range of residential and commercial systems.
• Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Breakdown repairs and reactive service work.

The Company

ROC Consulting is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established Brisbane-based air conditioning and refrigeration contractor.

The business specialises in the installation, service and maintenance of both residential and commercial air conditioning systems across Brisbane and South East Queensland. With a strong reputation in the market and a consistently busy workload, they are continuing to grow and are now looking to add another experienced Service Technician to the team.

The Role

This is a genuine service role working across a mix of residential and commercial customers throughout Brisbane.

Your work will include:

• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
• Breakdown repairs
• Reactive service work
• Providing technical advice and customer support on site
• Completing service reports and maintaining a high standard of workmanship

The role offers plenty of variety, with work ranging from residential split systems through to larger commercial equipment.

This is a Monday to Friday position with very limited weekend or on-call work unless you want the extra overtime.
