Job summary

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to join the Emerald branch. The role involves organizing day-to-day Field Service and Workshop activities, planning work fronts efficiently, and delivering Hitachi’s Total Customer Satisfaction.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will coordinate workshop and field service scheduling, maintain customer communications, ensure safety, and optimize resources within budget.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Scheduler/Planner or similar role.
• Strong customer service background with exposure to earthmoving or similar industries.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills with efficient time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coordinating opening and closing of service information.
• Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Booking and scheduling all Workshop and Field Service works as well as managing invoicing and work in progress
• Maintaining a high level of customer communication
• Ensuring safety and efficiency of field service technicians
• Ensuring effective utilisation of equipment and resources in line with customer requirements and agreed budgets
• Preparing and updating work orders and timesheets in a timely manner, maintaining documentation and warranty claims with 100% accuracy
