Job summary

Xylem, a global water solutions company, is seeking a Service Manager to lead service and rental operations from its Kemps Creek site in NSW, Australia. You will drive safety, quality, accountability and customer satisfaction while balancing operational and commercial priorities within technical and financial guidelines.

The role requires building workforce capability, identifying revenue opportunities and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver reliable service outcomes

Qualifications

• Trade Certificate or tertiary education plus 3 years’ leadership experience, or 5+ years in a similar role.
• Background in mechanical, electrical or water industry.
• Strong safety leadership and quality assurance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day service and rental operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, accountability and customer satisfaction.
• Manage operational and commercial priorities in line with technical, financial and business guidelines.
• Support sustainable business growth by identifying and maximising revenue opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, customers and regional support functions to deliver strong outcomes.
• Build workforce capability through employee development, clear expectations and effective leadership.
• Proactively manage operational, financial and safety risks through adherence to company procedures and policies.
• Foster collaboration across teams and functions through clear communication, negotiation and influence.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through problem solving, strategic thinking and adoption of new methods.
• Engage with external stakeholders including customers, suppliers, contractors, auditors and service providers.
