Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Service Product Planner & Coordinator in Sydney, Australia to manage critical spare parts, PPE, tools stock and distribution for the PQ division. The role requires collaboration with SCM, warehouse, product managers and technical support, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.

The successful candidate will bring UPS services experience, tertiary qualifications in business/logistics, and familiarity with Salesforce/SAP, with a focus on continuous improvement,

Qualifications

• Experience in UPS services administration/co-ordination.
• Degree in business management, logistics or related field.
• Experience with Salesforce and SAP is a plus.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with SCM, warehouse, product managers and technical support manager to ensure stock is adequate and accurate to support the business.
• Oversee and ensure all spare part management processes and operations run per business requirements.
• Provide forecast information to SCM to ensure spare parts are ordered.
• Manage spare part requirements for each state based on install base and contract information.
• Monitor and coordinate with coordinators and warehouse personnel to ensure replenishment per process.
• Escalate any spare part fulfilment issues with SCM team and Factory as required.
• Responsible for inventory management of spare parts including crash kits.
• Ensure setup, replenishment and return of commission and maintenance kit followed by warehouse team.
• Manage PPE and tools inventory level and replenishment process.
• Perform periodic cycle counts or audits of spare parts, service providers and subcontractors and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage calibration requirements and tracking with Field Service Supervisor and Service Coordinators.
• Maintain all business KPI and reporting for spare parts, PPE and tools for field service personnel.

The Power Quality (PQ) division at Eaton Electrical provides power management solutions including uninterruptable power supplies (UPS's), surge protective devices, power distribution units (PDU's), remote monitoring, software, power factor correction, airflow management, rack enclosures and services.

The Service Product Planner & Coordinator will be responsible for the planning and management of critical spare parts, tools (PPE, meters, tools) stock and distribution required to support the PQ division.

This role would suit a motived and reliable coordinator or supply chain planner with the ability to think on their feet in different situations. A continuous improvement mindset and taking ownership mindset will be highly regarded.

Key Duties

• Coordinate with SCM, warehouse, product managers and technical support manager to ensure the stock is adequate and accurate to support the business.
• Oversee and ensure all the spare part management process and operation is running per business requirement
• Provide the forecast information to SCM to ensure spare part is ordered
• Manage the spare part requirement for each state based on the install base information and contract information
• Monitor and coordinate with the coordinators and warehouse personnel to ensure the spare part is replenished per process
• Escalate any spare part fulfilment issue with the SCM team and Factory (as required)
• Responsible for inventory management of the spare part including crash kits
• Ensure the overall setup, replenishment and return of the commission and maintenance kit are followed by warehouse team
• Manage PPE and tools inventory level and the replenishment process
• Perform periodic cycle count or audit of spare parts in each state and also service provider or subcontractor and resolve discrepancies
• Manage the calibration requirement and tracking by working with Field Service Supervisor and Service Coordinators

Qualifications

• Experience in UPS Services: Administrator, Coordinator or Supply Chain Management
• Tertiary qualifications in business management, logistics or related disciplines
• Experience in Salesforce and SAP is a plus
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask
