Job summary

TASMAC is seeking Field Service Technicians across Tasmania to repair, service and diagnose agricultural and heavy machinery both in workshop and in-field, meeting a broad customer base.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant trade certificate or Diesel Mechanic/Fitter experience, with strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills, excellent customer service, and a valid driver's licence. This is a full-time permanent role with above-average hourly wages and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Relevant Trade Certificate or experience as a Diesel Mechanic/Fitter.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills and experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Advanced troubleshooting experience.
• A current driver's licence.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
• Previous field service work (preferred).
• Experience with farming machinery (Kubota, Fendt or Massey Ferguson preferred).

Responsibilities

• Repair, service and diagnose machinery in workshop and on-site.
• Meet the needs of a large customer base with quality service.
• Work across agricultural and construction equipment as required.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Field Service Technicians across all of our branch network based in Tasmania, Australia

About you

To be successful, you will be a confident self-starter and have a passion for agricultural and small construction machinery, an open mind for a rural lifestyle and demonstrate the following attributes.

• Relevant Trade Certificate or experience as a Diesel Mechanic/Fitter
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills and experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Advanced troubleshooting experience
• Share our passion for being a part of an engaged workforce
• A current driver's licence
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
• Previous field service work (preferred not essential)
• Previous experience working on farming machinery (Kubota, Fendt or Massey Ferguson preferred or any other large ag machinery brand)
