Job summary

TASK is recruiting a Service Manager for Charlestown Public School to lead before and after school care and vacation programs. The role is full-time, with hours across mornings, afternoons and holidays, requiring a proactive, child‑focused leader who can mentor Educators.

You will ensure safe, engaging environments, support families and collaborate with the Area Manager to drive quality programming and seamless daily operations.

Job Description

This is a permanent, full-time Service Manager role offering 38 hours per week across before and after school care, plus hours during the holiday programme. You will need to be available every morning, every afternoon and during the holiday programme.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and supporting a team of dedicated Educators at your school
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations and programming of before and after school care and vacation care
• Building strong relationships with families, the school and the wider community
• Ensuring compliance with NQF standards and TASK policies
• Managing rostering, records and reporting
• Working closely with your Area Manager, supporting and assisting with administrative duties
• Creating a fun, inclusive, enriching and safe environment for children

What we're looking for:

You're an experienced leader who truly cares about making a difference. You have:

• Managerial experience, with OOSH experience preferred
• Confidence in the end to end management of a service
• Availability every morning, every afternoon and during the holiday programme
• A Certificate III (or higher) in Children's Services, Education, or a related field is preferred
• A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Completion certificate for Foundations of Child Safety Training (GECCKO)
• First Aid (HLTAID012), CPR, and asthma and anaphylaxis training
• Current child protection training
