Job summary

• Substantial leadership experience in childcare, OSHC preferred.
• Certificate III+ in Children’s Services or related field preferred.

• Foundations of Child Safety Training (GECCKO) completion.
• First Aid (HLTAID012), CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training.
• Current child protection training.
• Commitment to child safety and families.

An exciting opportunity has become available at our Ourimbah Public School. We are recruiting a Service Manager. This is a newly created full‑time position, established as part of an organisational restructure to provide consistent leadership across the service. At TASK we strive to create joyful, secure, and inclusive child safe environments where children flourish outside school hours. This is a full‑time, child facing Service Manager role offering 38 hours per week, with dedicated administration time built in. There is currently no leader on site, so this is a chance to build something from the ground up. We're after someone who will make the service intentional, engaging and genuinely inspiring for the children who come through the door.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and supporting a team of dedicated Educators at your service
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations and programming of before and after school care and vacation care
• Building strong relationships with families, the school and the wider community
• Ensuring compliance with NQF standards and TASK policies
• Managing rostering, records and reporting
• Working closely with your Area Manager on the service's direction
• Creating a fun, inclusive, enriching and safe environment for children

What we're looking for:

You're an experienced leader who truly cares about making a difference. You have:

• Substantial leadership experience in a childcare setting, preferably OSHC
• Confidence in the end to end management of a service
• A Certificate III (or higher) in Children's Services, Education, or a related field is preferred
• A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Completion certificate for Foundations of Child Safety Training (GECCKO)
• First Aid (HLTAID012), CPR, and asthma and anaphylaxis training
• Current child protection training
