Job summary

TeamKids is recruiting for a Program Manager to lead a large OSHC/Childcare service. You'll coach the on-site leadership team, provide daily guidance on the floor, and partner with a Regional Manager and HQ support to deliver exceptional experiences for children and families.

You’ll manage day-to-day operations across Before, After and Vacation Care with emphasis on safety, quality, and community engagement, while growing a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in OSHC or education leadership role.
• First Aid/CPR/Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification or willingness to obtain.
• ACEQA standards qualification or progress toward it.

Responsibilities

• Actively supporting and guiding your onsite leadership team during contact hours.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and school leaders; oversee communications.
• Oversee environment setup and ensure engaging, inclusive programming.
• Uplift and train your team to build consistency and confidence.

About the role

As Program Manager, you’ll work closely with a dedicated on-site leadership team. Your leadership isn’t all from behind a desk, it’s on the floor, in ratio, side by side with your team.

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll provide daily coaching, guidance, and practical support. You’ll be a familiar, trusted face for families and children, while also being the steady presence that ensures everything runs smoothly. Think of yourself as the captain of the ship, steering the course, supporting your crew, and ensuring everyone arrives safely and smiling.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Supporting and coaching a structured leadership team

• Driving quality programming, compliance, and family engagement
• Building exceptional relationships with children, families, school leaders and your team
• Resourcing and delivering a fun, inclusive, high‑quality experience for all children

Your role is to coach and guide them on the floor, lead with confidence, and build strong routines, systems and team culture. You’ll play a key role in shaping a consistent and high‑performing team.

This is a high‑volume service that needs a leader who thrives on fast‑paced, purposeful work and can bring structure, quality, and consistency.

• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids

What You’ll Need

• First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience in an OSHC or education leadership role
