Job summary

Multicap in Rockhampton seeks an inspiring Service Manager to lead a remote team delivering SIL and Community Access across the region. This full-time, on-site role manages daily operations, service quality, customer outcomes and team performance while fostering positive relationships with customers, families and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering services to people with disabilities, including high/complex needs.
• Experience leading staff and managing performance.
• Experience in the NDIS sector and developing person-centred plans.
• Knowledge of legislation and safe work practices.
• Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets.
• Computer literacy and proficiency with software and systems.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Experience with HUB programs and community access is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure services align with Multicap's vision, strategic priorities and customer needs.
• Provide leadership, direction and support to Team Leaders and Support Staff.
• Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships to improve customer experience and brand awareness.
• Lead and develop the team to keep service delivery and expansion aligned with person-centred goals.

Job description

We are seeking an inspiring and people-focused Service Manager to lead a remote team delivering SIL and Community Access services across the region. Based full-time in our Rockhampton office, you will oversee daily operations, service quality, customer outcomes and team performance while building positive relationships with customers, families and stakeholders.

Other duties include:

• Ensuring the services are managed in alignment to Multicap’s Vision, Strategic Priorities, and customer needs
• Providing influential leadership, direction and supports to Team Leaders and Support Staff
• Establishing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships, enhancing the customer’s experience of Multicap services and providing opportunity for improved brand awareness
• Leading and developing a team to ensure that service delivery and service expansion remains individually focused.

About you:

We are seeking someone who is true leader, who can inspire a team, be accountable, respect and value relationships, give and receive feedback, but above all – someone who can live Multicap’s sole purpose in enhancing lives. Working on-site at our Emerald office.

Someone who will also bring:

• Experience in providing services for people with disabilities, particularly those with high or complex needs
• Experience in staff leadership and performance, including assessing recruitment needs, planning employment development, and performance management
• Experience working within NDIS sector, developing Person-Centred-Plans within a positive behaviour framework
• Knowledge of legislation and safe work practices, and a commitment to policies and procedures
• Financial acumen and the ability to manage within a prescribed budget and provide advocacy where needed
• Computer literate and proficient in the use of software and systems
• Ability to prioritise a workload, and respond to emerging situations and appropriate deadlines
• Experience HUB programs and community access (desirable)

• A current QLD Driver’s Licence (P2 or Open)
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
• Working with Children Check (Blue card)
• CPR and First-Aid certificates
