Warami Solutions seeks an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead the commercial mechanical services business. You will oversee service, maintenance and project delivery, manage financial performance and drive business development across multiple states, reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a General Manager/Operations Manager/Senior leadership role within HVAC or building services.
• Strong technical understanding of commercial HVAC systems and mechanical services operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple divisions, teams and operational functions.
• Strong commercial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, contract management and profitability.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager the overall operations, commercial performance, and strategic growth of a commercial mechanical services business.

This role will be managing multiple states and reporting directly to senior management.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially driven professional with a strong background in HVAC, mechanical services and business operations. You will be responsible for overseeing service and maintenance, project delivery, financial performance, business development and workforce management.

Working closely with the executive team, you will drive operational excellence, strengthen client relationships and identify new opportunities to expand the business within the commercial construction and building services sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall business operations, strategy and performance of the HVAC and mechanical services divisions.
• Develop and implement business plans to achieve revenue, profitability and growth targets.
• Oversee project delivery, service and maintenance operations, ensuring quality, safety and commercial outcomes.
• Manage budgets, financial forecasting, cash flow, margins and overall business profitability.
• Drive business development initiatives and secure new projects, maintenance contracts and strategic partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, builders and industry stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor and develop senior managers, project managers, service managers and operational teams.
• Monitor business KPIs, financial performance and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, relevant Australian Standards, contractual requirements and company policies.
• Identify commercial risks and implement strategies to improve business performance.
• Oversee recruitment, workforce planning and resource allocation to support business growth.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in a General Manager, Operations Manager, Service or senior leadership role within HVAC, mechanical services or building services.
• Strong technical understanding of commercial HVAC systems and mechanical services operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple business divisions, teams and operational functions.
• Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, contract management and profit-and-loss responsibility.
• A proven track record in business development, client relationship management and revenue growth.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate senior management teams.
• Strong negotiation, communication and strategic planning capabilities.
• A proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on operational excellence and sustainable growth.
