Job summary

O’Connors in Corowa is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the Service Department, focusing on people development, operational performance and exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will drive workshop operations, budgeting, warranty administration and service outcomes while promoting safety and continuous improvement across our regional farming machinery business.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our Service Department at our Corowa dealership.

About the Role

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will lead the Service Department and be responsible for ensuring strong team performance, customer satisfaction and achievement of key business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing Service team
• Managing workshop operations, scheduling and technician allocation
• Driving productivity, efficiency and timely completion of repair orders
• Building strong customer relationships and ensuring a positive service experience
• Overseeing warranty administration, invoicing and operational compliance
• Managing service department budgets and performance reporting
• Identifying opportunities to grow the service business and strengthen customer engagement
• Promoting a strong safety culture and commitment to O’Connors' values.

About You

• Proven leadership and people management experience
• Strong operational and commercial skills within a workshop, service or technical environment
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
• The ability to motivate and engage a team to achieve results
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A commitment to continuous improvement, safety and quality outcomes
• Experience in agriculture is highly regarded; however, candidates from the automotive, trucking, transport, heavy equipment, mining or related industries are encouraged to apply.
