Job summary

Camp Australia in Harrisdale, WA, seeks a passionate childcare leader to design and maintain a safe, engaging program for primary-aged children. You will lead a team of educators to create a welcoming space where children can relax, have fun, and flourish.

This full-time role requires a Diploma or equivalent, Working with Children Checks, First Aid and other certificates, and availability 6:30 am–8:30 am and 2:00 pm–6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Diploma in childcare or equivalent is required.
• Valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates or willingness to obtain.
• National Child Safety Training or willingness to obtain.
• Availability 6:30 am – 8:30 am and 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

In this role, you'll design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program. Plan exciting daily activities for primary-aged Children. Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks, and build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.

ABOUT YOU

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Completed a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Availability from 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. (plus admin, full time role)
• Valid Child Protection training Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
